Dr. Saleem is a distinguished academic, researcher, corporate trainer, and communication expert with extensive experience in higher education, leadership development, and professional training. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of English at Patan Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, and is the Founder and CEO of Motivation Funnel Pvt. Ltd., where he designs and delivers transformative training programs for universities, government agencies, financial institutions, corporate organizations, and educational institutions across Nepal. 

Holding a PhD in English from Tribhuvan University, with advanced degrees in Conflict Management, Project Management, English, and Sociology and Anthropology, Dr. Saleem combines interdisciplinary knowledge with practical expertise to deliver impactful teaching, research, and consultancy. His areas of specialization include Managerial Communication, Leadership Development, Conflict Management, Research Writing, Cultural Diversity, Public Speaking, Academic Writing, and Organizational Development.

With more than two decades of professional experience, Dr. Saleem has taught undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students while supervising numerous master's dissertations and PhD research projects. Beyond academia, he has served as a consultant, policy advisor, researcher, and resource person for various government bodies, universities, and national organizations. His expertise has also been recognized through frequent invitations as a keynote speaker, trainer, and television commentator on leadership, education, communication, inclusion, and social development.

A prolific author and researcher, Dr. Saleem has published more than 40 books and over 40 peer-reviewed research papers in national and international journals. His research spans managerial communication, qualitative research, multiculturalism, postcolonial studies, leadership, higher education, social inclusion, gender studies, and organizational communication. His publications and scholarly contributions have established him as one of Nepal's leading voices in academic writing and interdisciplinary research. Dr. Saleem is one of the most qualified and highly engaged professionals for the holistic development of society at large. The contributions he has made have elevated the intellectual height of Nepal. Indeed, Dr. Saleem is a mindblowing sales, and stress management expert whose training sessions are result-driven and immensely engaging and entertaining. 

Dr. Saleem serves as an Assistant Professor of English at Patan Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, where he has been engaged since January 2012. His responsibilities include teaching and supervising undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and PhD students and researchers. His academic specialization is complemented by expertise in managerial communication, leadership development, conflict management, research writing, and sales and stress management. Beyond the university classroom, he has also established himself as a motivational coach and communication, conflict, sales and stress management expert at Motivation Funnel Pvt. Ltd. since April 2019. In this capacity, he has trained, coached and motivated employees and students in areas including public speaking, writing, conflict management, project management, corporate culture. and research writing across Nepal and India.

Dr. Saleem's academic foundation is notably interdisciplinary. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in English from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Tribhuvan University, in 2020. His doctoral dissertation, titled Representation of Muslims in 9/11 Fiction: Multiculturalism and Its Discontents, reflects his sustained scholarly interest in Muslim representation, multiculturalism, identity, and the literary and cultural consequences of the post-9/11 world. Prior to his PhD, he completed an M.Phil. in English from the Central Department of Englisg, Tribhuvan University, in 2013, with a specialization in conflict management. He also holds an MA in Sociology and Anthropology from Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, completed in 2013, with a specialization in project management, as well as an MA in English from the Central Department of English, Tribhuvan University, completed in 2006. His earlier qualifications include a BA in English and Political Science and a Proficiency Certificate Level qualification in English, Economics, and Political Science. 

This combination of English studies, sociology, anthropology, political science, conflict management, and project management has contributed to the breadth of his academic and professional work. Rather than limiting his expertise to literary studies, Dr. Saleem has consistently worked at the intersection of literature, society, culture, communication, education, and public life. 

Dr. Saleem's professional career began in teaching, and education remains central to his work. Before joining Patan Multiple Campus, he served as a full-time lecturer of English at Kathmandu Model College, teaching at BA and MA levels from 2006 to 2011. He also taught students of science and management at Adarsha Bidya Mandir Higher Secondary School in Lalitpur and began his teaching career as a teacher of English at Paradise Children's Academy in Taulihawa. His higher-education experience further includes teaching Business Communication at Asian College of Management and Technology, Purbanchal University, from 2013 to 2021, and teaching Multiculturalism and Ethnic Conflict at White House College from 2017 to 2020. 

Dr. Saleem's professional experience also extends beyond conventional academic institutions. As Director of CYC Micro Finance in Pokhara from 2022 to 2023, he was involved in constituting policies related to financial development. Earlier, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the Nepal Studies and Research Center in Kathmandu, where he led and executed social projects. His engagement with public policy and social inclusion is demonstrated by his work as a consultant for the National Inclusion Commission under the Office of the Prime Minister of Nepal, where he researched and prepared a report concerning Madeshi Dalits and inclusiveness. 

Research and scholarship constitute another defining dimension of Dr. Saleem's career. His doctoral research on the representation of Muslims in 9/11 fiction is part of a wider body of scholarly work examining cultural representation, identity, minorities, radicalism, postcolonialism, migration, gender, and social relations. His published research demonstrates both literary and social-scientific interests. His articles address subjects such as intercultural communication, immigration and identity crisis, postcoloniality, gender politics in Nepal, religiosity and radicalization, minority recognition, cultural stereotyping, power imbalance, social research methods, academic writing, teaching and learning in Nepal, managerial communication, female leadership in higher education, and caste dynamics in education. 

Dr. Saleem's publication record includes numerous peer-reviewed articles appearing indexed in NepJols. Research supervision is another significant component of his academic contribution. He has remained actively engaged in professional training, conferences, workshops, seminars, and public intellectual activities. His recent engagements include serving as a resource person on corporate culture and conflict management for senior management at CYC Nepal in Pokhara and Sales Skills to the branch managers of National Life Insurance in Chitwan in 2026 and contributing as an expert to the National Muslim Commission. In 2024 and earlier years, he conducted sessions on research-driven teaching, artificial intelligence and information technology in business, career motivation, research proposal writing, career growth and satisfaction in teaching, public speaking career choice and development, rhetoric, academic writing, and speaking skills. He also conducted sesssions on Corporate Leadership to senior management of Himalayan Life Insurance at Raddison Hotel in Kathmandu in 2025. In the same year, he led many sessions on Sales Skills to branch managers and agency managers of Himalayan Life Insurance across Nepal. These engagements demonstrate his ability to translate academic knowledge into practical learning and professonal development. 

Dr. Saleem's public engagement is further demonstrated by his paper presentations on social inclusion of Madeshi Dalits, dialectics in language and literature, Nepal-India social and cutlural relations, economic development in Nepal, youth self-employment, employee career development, scholarshop toward contemporary social, economic, educational, and professional issues.
